Map Reviews

Lost Temple:

Yo this is by far the most popular map on any of the online ladders. It's pretty well balanced and the bases are set up nicely. Like you will be playing and then the korean dude is like at your base already hella ready to kill you but you gotta wall that shit and then he fucking dominates you and you get pissed and leave. Those fuckin koreans man, they are insane. Bottom line is this map is one of the funnest maps to play, it gets 5/5.

Luna:

This map is pretty popular, I will play it but I am not really too fond of it because I like playing terran but only if I can wall early. I don't think there is a way to do it on this map but maybe I'm just retarded. The bottom line on this shit is that I lose a lot on this map so it gets a 2/5.

Rivalry:

This is an old ladder map but it's one of my favorites. It has corner bases and then of course a natural exp but it doesn't have gas. It has a few flaws in the map that kind of bug me like how far the gas and minerals are on some places. I like this map a lot cause terran has an advantage with vultures and not needing much gas for tvp. It's easy to get them trapped with only one gas. In tvz it's pretty balanced actually. I've been lucky though that a lot of the time the people don't know the map as good as I do and that gives me just enough of an advantage to win, then I won't play a rematch because I'll probably lose. Bottom line is that this map is hella fun for terran and I love to play terran, but there are a few minor annoyances so 4/5.

R-Point:

This is a moderately popular map on the ladders, or just in clan communities. I actually like playing as protoss on this map, but only against terran. It's hella easy to get a good flank attack on it early game and devaste the early tank rush and then attack with some dts its pretty awesome. I have this one replay of a pretty good game I played where I did just that. Just go to the replay section and find the rep in the Rpoint section. Bottom line is this map is pretty cool looking and fun to play on, 4/5.

You can get most of these maps and more in the progaming map section of sclegacy found here.
